Registration Confirmation
Your registration entitles you to admittance to the free Event “Digital Solutions - The Conversational Commerce Series”. Any and all other costs associated with your attendance (including without limitation any travel and/or accommodation expenses) shall be borne solely by you and Organizer shall have no liability for such costs.
The registration for participation in the Event is made via the data form on the Event landing page website.
You acknowledge that Organizer reserves the right to request your removal from the Event if Organizer, in its sole discretion, considers your presence and/or behavior to create a disruption or to hinder the Event and/or the enjoyment of the Event by other attendees or speakers.
You acknowledge and agree that Organizer, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to change any and all aspects of the Event, including but not limited to, the Event name, themes, content, program, speakers, performers, hosts, moderators, venue, and time. We are entitled to cancel the Event at any time and you will not be entitled to any credit or other remuneration of any type. Organizer will endeavor to provide as prompt notice as possible of any such cancellation.
Privacy + Data Sharing
Organizer is committed to data privacy and protecting your personal information. Information on how Organizer collects, processes, and uses your data is included in the Privacy Policy which is hereby incorporated into these Terms & Conditions. Organizer uses the personal data you provide in this registration for administering your participation in this event. Additionally, by submitting your email address during the event registration process, you agree that Organizer and its event sponsors may send you event-related information. A valid email address is required for all registrations.
Attendance Guidelines
Organizer is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment to all participants. In doing so, guests will need to abide by these guidelines. In addition to the Venues (We Work) Terms and Conditions.
Covid Protocols
Organizer cares about the health of our guests and our Organizer team. We will be abiding by NYC mask and vaccination mandates for indoor events. Attendees for the event will need to show proof of their 2 dose vaccinations (except those who received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine) to enter the event. Masks will be encouraged but not mandatory unless mandated by NYC at the day and time of the event. If a guest is unable to show proof of vaccination upon entry, Organizer will deny entry.
The Venue, We Work, may have temperature screening(s) in the lobby, entryway, or Community bar subject to applicable requirements and best practices or as mandated by local law or regulation. In the event guests fail a temperature screening, WeWork has the right, at its sole discretion, to deny entry to such Event Holder or guest.
Code of Conduct
Organizer has no tolerance for discrimination, harassment, or bullying in any form at Organizer-related events. Participants are expected to adhere to these principles and respect the rights of others. If you witness or are subjected to unacceptable behavior: Participants should report any behavior inconsistent with these principles to onsite event staff.
Prohibited Activities
No smoking, including electronic cigarettes, in the Location or Building during the Event. No usage of cannabis or any illicit or federally banned substances on the premises of the Location, the Building, and the surrounding areas.
Usage of photographic and video material taken by Attendee
To respect the panelists there will be no recording of the panel portion of the event with audio. Photos and videos (without audio) may be taken throughout the entire event and used on Organizer’s social media channels, event recap emails, and future Organizer newsletters.
In general audio, image, and video recording is permitted at the event except during the panel portion of the event. An attendee is permitted to use hand-held cameras and/or smartphones to take photographs and capture digital images for personal, non-commercial use, provided the photography is not disruptive and during the panel portion of the event. Photographs may not be published, sold, reproduced, transmitted, distributed, or otherwise commercially exploited in any manner whatsoever.
During the event, Organizer will make photo and video recordings. By entering the event venue, participants give their irrevocable consent to these recordings being made and the free use of their pictures/video shots and voice recordings for photography and video and/or audio recordings made by Organizer in the context of the event; as well as to the subsequent Internet exploitation on the websites of the Organizer and their Event Sponsors; in the program of current or follow-up events, social media channels and email marketing.
Organizer may hire professional service providers (photo/video/streaming/audio) to document and display the event experience. Organizer may also use social media (e.g. Instagram, Twitter) to post real-time photos and videos to its social media feeds. Attendees and sponsors are encouraged to capture their event experiences and post their own social content from the event (text, photos, audio, video, streaming), provided it does not infringe upon the rights of any attendee, sponsor, third-party, or Organizer. Such infringement would include but is not limited to, defamation or infringement of intellectual property rights.
By attending the event, you acknowledge and agree as follows: (a) Organizer may edit and use footage it captures at the event for marketing and promotional activities and for any other lawful purpose in the ordinary course of its business; and (b) due to the prevalence of mobile recording devices in today’s world, Organizer disclaims all liability for the capture of your image in any multimedia format by other attendees at the event.
Liability
In consideration of being allowed to register for, and participate in the event, I hereby warrant and represent that I am age 18 or above and freely waive, release from liability, assume all risks, and covenant not to sue Organizer or its members, employees, sponsors, board members, agents, or volunteers for any expense, loss, damage, personal injury, including loss of life, disability, property damage, or property theft or actions of any kind that I may hereafter suffer or sustain before, during, or after the event, unless said expense, loss, damage, personal injury, including loss of life, disability, property damage or property theft or actions of any kind is caused by the sole, gross negligence of Organizer. This Liability Waiver and Release is specifically binding upon my heirs and assigns and is knowingly given.
I understand that my properties present at the Event are there at my expense and risk. Organizer does not concern itself with the security or insurance of the goods. You are liable for and must take out adequate insurance against any and all loss or damage of any nature, whichever caused by your acts or omissions.
